Numerous advantages are provided by the Sloane LASEK Flap Repositor during ocular laser operations. These advantages are particularly helpful for realigning the corneal flap during corneal stromal remodeling.

First of all, a little, spatulated tip with atraumatic edges is included with the repositor. In addition, the tip has a little curvature to accommodate the corneal flap. Consequently, the flap may be guided to its anatomical location by the surgeon.
